You must be 18+. Approved creators host on-chain lotteries; anyone eligible can join. Crypto and lotteries carry real risk, prizes are never guaranteed, and most ticket purchases are final. This summary is not the contract — the sections below are — and this is a starting version, not legal advice.
01Agreement to these Terms
Welcome to MY CLOVER (the “Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and MY CLOVER. By creating an account, or by accessing or using the Platform in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
02Who we are
MY CLOVER is built and operated by an international team of independent developers. We intend to register a formal company in the future; when we do, the operating entity, its management and team, and its registered details will be published on this page. Until then, you can reach the team any time at [email protected].
03Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. We do not currently run formal age verification, but the Platform is strictly for adults. If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18 — at any stage, and regardless of activity or balance — we may suspend or cancel it.
The Platform is available only where paid-entry lotteries are lawful. You are solely responsible for making sure your use is legal where you live. We block access from sanctioned jurisdictions and from places where online lotteries are prohibited, and we may restrict additional regions at our discretion.
04What MY CLOVER is
MY CLOVER is a crypto-native platform where approved creators host their own lotteries. We do not operate the draws — we provide the technology and the on-chain rails. Tickets are priced in US dollars and paid in the network’s native coin (TRX on the TRON network today) at the live exchange rate at the moment of purchase. Winners are chosen by a provably-fair, on-chain process that anyone can independently verify.
05Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it up to date, use only one account, and not share your account with anyone. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
06Hosting as a creator
Hosting lotteries is available only to approved creators — see how to become a creator. As a creator, you are solely responsible for the lotteries you host, including their legality, accuracy, prizes, and compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You must not host lotteries that are illegal, fraudulent, misleading, or that infringe anyone’s rights. We may review, refuse, edit, remove, or suspend any lottery or creator account at our discretion.
07Tickets, draws & prizes
When you buy a ticket, the native coin is transferred on-chain into that lottery’s own dedicated wallet. Entries become final once the draw is sealed. Winners are selected by a verifiable, blockchain-anchored draw, and taking part never guarantees a win. Prizes are paid on-chain to winners’ wallets. You are responsible for the wallet linked to your account and for blockchain conditions that are outside our control.
08Fees
MY CLOVER charges a platform fee of up to 10% of each lottery’s pool, and the hosting creator may earn a creator fee of up to 10%. The rest of the pool funds the prizes. We currently apply 10% to the platform and 10% to the creator; these rates may change as our financial policy evolves, but neither the platform fee nor the creator fee will ever exceed 10%. Blockchain network fees (“gas”) are paid by the transacting user from their own balance.
09Refunds
Ticket purchases are generally final and non-refundable. There is one exception: if a target-based lottery does not reach its target by its deadline, every ticket is automatically refunded from that lottery’s own wallet, minus the blockchain network fee needed to send the refund. Time-based lotteries and completed draws are not refundable.
10Crypto, wallets & custody
The Platform uses internal custodial wallets: we hold the encrypted keys to the wallets created for your account and for each lottery. By using the Platform you acknowledge and accept that:
- blockchain transactions are irreversible and cannot be reversed by us or anyone;
- crypto assets are volatile and their value can change sharply and quickly;
- prices shown in US dollars are converted to the native coin at a live third-party rate, which may move between the time you are quoted and the time a transaction settles;
- funds held on the Platform are not bank deposits, are not insured, and carry no guarantee; and
- you are responsible for your own wallet details and for losses caused by your own mistakes.
Only use the Platform with amounts you can afford to lose.
11Taxes
You are solely responsible for determining, reporting, and paying any taxes that apply to your use of the Platform, including on any winnings. We do not withhold taxes on your behalf and we are not your tax advisor.
12Prohibited conduct
You agree that you will not:
- use the Platform if you are under 18 or where it is illegal for you;
- launder money or fund any illegal activity;
- commit fraud or deceive other users;
- create multiple, fake, or impersonating accounts;
- use bots, scripts, or automation to gain an unfair advantage;
- attempt to manipulate, exploit, reverse-engineer, or interfere with draws, wallets, or the Platform; or
- break any law that applies to you.
We may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
13Suspension & termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account or lottery, and remove any content, at any time and at our discretion — including where we suspect fraud, illegal use, or a breach of these Terms, or where we need to protect users or the Platform. Where we hold funds tied to a lawful lottery, we will handle them in line with that lottery’s rules and these Terms.
14Provably-fair draws
Draws use a commit-reveal process seeded by a future public blockchain block, and every completed draw can be independently re-checked on its public verification page. We do not — and technically cannot — secretly choose winners. We do not, however, warrant that a creator entered a given lottery’s inputs honestly beyond what the public on-chain record shows.
15Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee winnings, uninterrupted or error-free operation, the value or availability of any crypto asset, or the conduct of creators or other users. Nothing on the Platform is financial, legal, or tax advice.
16Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MY CLOVER and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any lost funds, profits, or opportunities, arising from your use of the Platform, from crypto volatility or irreversible transactions, or from the acts of creators or third parties. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
17Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MY CLOVER and its team from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, the lotteries you host, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
18Changes to the Platform and Terms
We may update the Platform and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. By continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
19Governing law & disputes
Until we register a formal operating company, these Terms are not tied to the law of any single country, and we aim to resolve any issue directly and in good faith — please contact our team or support first. Once an operating company is registered, these Terms will be governed by the laws of that company’s home jurisdiction, and this section will be updated accordingly. Nothing here removes any mandatory rights you have under the laws of your own country.
