Approved creators host lotteries that settle on-chain in native crypto. Tickets are priced in USD, winners are chosen by a provably-fair draw anchored to a future blockchain block, prizes pay out instantly, and every draw can be independently verified by anyone.
01What MY CLOVER is
MY CLOVER is a crypto-native platform where approved creators host their own lotteries and anyone eligible can join in seconds. We do not run the draws ourselves — we provide the technology and the on-chain rails. Every entry and every prize settles on-chain in the network’s native coin (TRX on the TRON network today), so the blockchain, not a private database, is the source of truth. Winners are chosen by a provably-fair process that anyone can independently verify.
02Every lottery gets its own on-chain wallet
When a creator publishes a lottery, it is assigned its own dedicated blockchain wallet. Ticket payments flow straight into that wallet, and prizes and any refunds are paid out of it. Nothing is pooled with other lotteries or with the platform’s own funds, and the wallet’s balance and transactions are visible on the public blockchain the whole time.
03Buying a ticket
Ticket prices are set by the creator in US dollars, so the price is stable and easy to understand. At the moment you buy, that USD price is converted to the network’s native coin at the live exchange rate and charged from your balance, and the coins move on-chain into the lottery’s wallet.
You can buy one ticket or several. Each ticket you hold is one weighted entry in the draw — more tickets means a proportionally higher chance of winning, and taking part never guarantees a win.
04How a lottery closes
A lottery ends in one of two ways, chosen by the creator when they set it up:
- Time-based — it closes at a fixed deadline, whatever tickets have sold by then.
- Target-based — it closes the moment its funding target is reached. If the deadline arrives and the target was not reached, the lottery is cancelled and every ticket is automatically refunded from its own wallet (see Refunds below).
Once a lottery closes, entries are frozen — no more tickets can be bought or changed.
05The commitment (why nobody can cheat)
The instant entries freeze, the platform publishes a cryptographic commitment — a SHA-256 hash of a secret seed it has generated for this draw — and pins the draw to a specific future block on the blockchain (a block that has not been produced yet). Both the hash and the target block number are published before the outcome is known.
Because the seed is committed in advance, the platform cannot change it later without the hash no longer matching. And because the draw depends on a future block that nobody controls, no one — not the creator, not the platform — can predict or steer the result.
06The draw
Once the pinned block is produced, its hash is combined with the now-revealed secret seed to produce the random value that selects the winner. Entries are weighted by the number of tickets held, so a participant with more tickets has a proportionally larger share of the outcome. The whole computation is deterministic: given the same public inputs, it always yields the same winner — which is exactly what makes it checkable.
07Prizes and fees
Prizes are paid on-chain straight to the winners’ wallets out of the lottery’s own wallet. The pool is split at creation into three fixed shares:
- the prize pool for winners (the large majority of the pool);
- a platform fee of up to 10%; and
- a creator fee of up to 10% for the person hosting the lottery.
Neither fee ever exceeds 10%. Blockchain network fees (“gas”) for a transaction are paid by the user making it, from their own balance.
08Verify it yourself
Every completed draw has a permanent, public verification page that shows the committed hash, the revealed seed, the block the draw was anchored to, the full list of weighted entries, and the resulting winner. Anyone can re-run the exact same calculation with an open-source checker and confirm the result independently — you never have to trust us, you can check. We do not, and technically cannot, secretly choose winners.
09Refunds
Ticket purchases are generally final. The one exception is a target-based lottery that does not reach its target by its deadline: it is cancelled automatically, and every ticket is refunded from that lottery’s own wallet, minus the small blockchain network fee required to send the refund. Time-based lotteries and completed draws are not refundable.
10Networks and coins
MY CLOVER settles in each network’s native coin. TRON (TRX) is live today; Solana and Polygon are on the roadmap. Because prices are quoted in USD and charged in the native coin at the live rate, the experience stays the same wherever you are, while every payment remains fully on-chain and verifiable.
